Sold!!

So the good news is that I have already sold The Night Sky even before I have finished it!! :)
Very exciting. So now I have decided to start selling my quilts. I will set up an etsy store and also sell them on my blog and website, which I have to update :).

Here are some more photo's of the night sky, slow but steady I go :)

This is the first step in the building work, I will go back over with metallic thread and add lots of arabic shapes and patterns.
I exercised all week and did the killer work out twice and my body is soooo sore. I am eating rubbish this week too so what a waste!! oh well :) At least I have muscles :)

Have a Look

I have started sewing on the Night Sky/Arabian Nights and I am really happy - this quilt has been very good for my ego :) The night sky turned out exactly how I wanted it to and the buildings look good enough:) and now the quilting is doing exactly what I want it to, well I am doing it the way I want it. Have a look

See on this one you can barely see the thread work and this is what I want, just to give it some depth.

All I have done is go round this building with thread to hold the fabric in place, I will come back over with gold metallic thread and do all fancy patterns.

I left out the oats,  I made this countless times when I was a little lass but never put oats in it, I think it tastes delicious the way I make it.
