Cute!!

For my birthday middle daughter made me a 3d paper birthday cake with icing and candles, it was amazing for an eight year old. Well, for anyone, I couldn't do it :) she loves making things out of paper. Tonight she decided that the teddies were going to eat dinner with us, so she set up a table and made food, plates, knives and forks for them. Have a look....

How cute is that!! She is very creative.
This is my new one, G liked the other Night Sky so much that he wanted me to make another. I am making the buildings straight this time, no lean and I am adding more stars. The buildings also have a more indian/turkish slant to them. Should be cool. I am waiting for some super awesome metallic/glitter thread and the colour is called midnight just perfect for this sky.

What do you think? Does it look as good as the other?

Here's something else I am working on....

It's a mushroom if you couldn't tell :) One of those photo's I printed onto canvas and then sew over. It is very very hard!! But it is starting to look okay. Once again it looks better in person, so come on over and have a look.

Painting Pleasure

I got the paint!! So exciting!! I practiced with this

It was just to see how the paint works. Which it works really really well. I made about 15 colours out of my 6 I bought, and that was so cool. G liked the Night Sky Quilt so much that he wanted me to make another one, so I am :). Bit more turkish in the buildings.

This one I am going to sell. After I have free motioned it of course.

Great photo isn't it :) The blue thread glows!! Actually most of the red glows too and the yellow. I really like this one. The best way to see this one is in person, so come around. The blue around the edges is the border that I need to iron under.

In between all this, I have been exercising, I do a body rock workout (which make me sweat so much that it drips off me) then I go for a walk with Sam. I am pretty sore all the time but I am sloooowly losing weight. Proud of myself though :) Still can't beat G in an arm wrestle :) and believe me I try. Darn it.

We are all trying to fight off the cold so hope everyone is well on your side.
