Finished!

I am totally finished the commission baby quilt and am now washing it. Nail biting wait to make sure nothing happens :) I am sure it won't but after all that work I am still a bit nervous. Now I am excited to finish off Believe and start on Oh My Eye! Sam painted it and I am going to some how fill it in with thread :)

Busy

It's been a while, but I have been spending all my time, when I am not cooking, cleaning, driving my children to tutors, golf, piano and violin lessons , doing the commission baby quilt. It took me a while to remember how to piece perfectly :) now I know why I paint quilts instead hehehehe
So here is the commission baby quilt 

 And here is the believe one, this is going great and I hope to put it up on Etsy very soon, hoping it will improve my stats and get a sale :)

My next idea is a map of Australia with what is produced in each area....  it's all in my head :)

Finally found some help for middle daughter in regards to schooling, and am so excited that she will be able to cope and do much better in school. It has been such a struggle for her and I am glad she can get some help.

A Rant

Well, I think I just dealt with about 100 emotions in an hour!! The kids are sending me mad! Some would say I am already there, and yes sometimes I am :) BUT far out! How can children cry one second and then laugh silly literally a second later???? And then the next second turn and tell their sibling 'you fat blubber..' huh? what did I miss? Just thought that maybe writing it down would help me stop eating that bag of chips in my cupboard in such a record time that I would be entered into the Guinness book of records. hmmmm still thinking about it. Now I am going to try and relax while watching something on tv.
Talking about tv, I finished watching Warehouse 13, it was so awesome and it even brought me to tears!! Worth watching I am telling you, no swearing etc and fun too. :)

New One's

I can't decide what I love more, painting on fabric or sewing the free motion on the quilts. Time seems to be disappearing even faster than I remember and I can't seem to fit them both in. A little of both will have to keep me happy :) So here is two more paintings I have finished and I have already started sewing on the Believe one.

 There are little creatures all over this quilt, just for fun :)

 I got the tiniest drop of water on my brush with the paint, and look what happened, will have to sew around it heavily to hide the bleed.

 I am still not sure about this one.... what do you think? too boring? Too amateurish? Too blah?

I sold another quilt on Etsy wohooo :) and have a commission thanks to my brother, so that is pretty cool. I will be a millionaire by the time I am 150 :)
Talking about time, how much time does it take to do homework?? It seems to be longer than an afternoon :) My afternoons seem to last for two days hehe but at the same time they are enjoyable, so I am happy.
And why does it always feel like it is 2pm in the blink of an eye?? Soon I have to leave so I can wait for 30 minutes at school just to get a car park, crazy but life hey.

Finished

Second week of school and I'm feeling good :) Finished this piece, really loving this, and now off to do some painting on my Believe one and also finish off the circus as well. The weather is so gorgeous here right now, we live in a great place.
Been really trying with the healthy eating plan and I feel fantastic, not sure if I have lost much weight but I am getting there and feel good. Loving pink lady apples at the moment mmmm super sweet.
Parking up at the school has been a nightmare and so I go up real early to get a park, but it gives me some time to read and at the moment I am reading a Nicholas Evans book called the Divide and it is consuming and you just want to know how and why. Very good. He wrote The Horse Whisperer which I will read next.
Anyway, have a look and see what you think of my latest creation, it will be available for sale through my Etsy store very soon.

Well there you go, I am off to enjoy this gorgeous day.
