Another One

Well I finished this

and uploaded it to Etsy. Now just waiting for another super quick sale :)
Ate too much of my baked cheesecake and now feel much bigger. Darn, why cant we just eat baked cheesecake and not get fat.:)

I painted this

The one on the left is called JewelTree and the one on the right I am not even sure I like. I painted it last night while watching Miss Marple, I had fun but once I finished... I wasn't sure that it sits right. The dark green up the top sucks I think, I could always cut that bit off. What do you think?

I have finished the tea towel :) and I love it.

This is a little something I just felt like painting, so this is what I will work on next.

And this is a gorgeous chocolate baked cheesecake for my birthday mmmmmm saving this for only me :)

The gorgeous quilt I posted here on Wednesday has sold on Etsy!!!! In one day:) wohooooo. I would love it if that happened more often :)

Another One

Finished another wall hanging. Now I can start on the Australia quilt. I always start a quilt by staring at it and wondering what on earth I am going to do with it :). No different this time, actually it is a bit harder since I have the map to follow. I am hoping this will be good enough for the QLD quilt show.

I need to name this one and have no idea... got any?

School holidays are slowly coming to a close. The fighting makes me feel like I have failed as a mother, guilt follows me like the screaming voices :) it is such a wonderful feeling. Today I got the kids to mop parts of the house, the oldest daughter said 'how boring'(with loads of teen attitude too) and I replied with welcome to my life :) she didn't say anything else hehehe. Then I go them to vacuum their rooms. They did it, and didn't complain that much. The mopping didn't make my life easier but that isn't the point :) but the vacuuming was great :). Now I just need to get them cooking dinners and my life is so much easier hehehehe.
Exercised twice today, so I expect to be wayyy skinnier when I wake up tomorrow :)

Early Birthday Present

This is what my early birthday present is...

It is sooo cool. I am wirelessly watching a Tv show off our hard drive while sitting at my sewing desk. Sweet. :) It is one of those things, that once you have it, you never know how you survived without it before :).
So tired from sugar overload :) and from cleaning out my laundry cupboard today, really really got in there and threw stuff out etc and now I just walk into the laundry and open the cupboard and get all happy looking at such a clean space. :) My life is very exciting. And full of adventure.

Now at Easter, in Malta Figoli is what they eat, and it is sooo yum. You cannot buy it where we live so my wonderful in laws make it, I have done it in the past, but it is alooot of work and the mixture makes alot and it is soooo yummy and I just end up eating all of it and gaining alot of weight :). I am going to make it next year and get the whole family to make it a tradition. See, this is what it looks like

 And this is what is in the middle, it is an almond meal, sugar and other stuff that I can't remember :) but it is sooo yum.

If you want to try some, the wonderful in laws gave us some, so kind, come on over in the next couple of days before we eat them. :)

Yum

We went to a confectionary warehouse yesterday and totally got carried away :) It was sooo much fun, there was a great international section and I found some Willy Wonka chocolate that just looks devine.

The kids got to choose an Easter egg, they choose the purple eggs you can see, they are Hillier, very very yum chocolate and then they had some pocket money and so they got other fun stuff. It was so cool watching them trying to pick from the many choices :) Oldest daughter kept changing her mind and putting things back over and over and saying Oh I just can't choose! :)

This Mammoth Easter bunny was as big as a small child, at least 120cm tall and was about 60cm wide, it looked awesome, good quality chocolate, Hilliers brand and was $250.00, I got one for each child :)

Here is the yummy Willy Wonka Chocolate, haven't eaten yet, but I am real excited to try the fudge inside mmmmmm

I am sure my next post will be about upset stomache's and feeling fat :)

Shoes

So, due to popular demand (popular being more than one and less than three:) I will show you some photo'sof my shoe bargains, and talking about popular, I was reading another blog and she was mentioning that she gets 1.5million hits!!!!! hmmm, a fair way to go for me hehehhehe.

Now, my legs aren't usually that big and bloated I swear :) at least it looks like I have ankles :) What a relief. Now I am off to eat my medicine for the day, 4 pieces of chocolate :). This has no correlation to the swollen looking legs.
