Look where I have been...

Hi

Our family went for a night away at my father's property, and I thought I would share with you what we got up to..

This is before we got to Dad's property..

Gorgeous isn't it
Then we came around the corner and saw this

Then this is their gate, so lovely
this is how he gets around on the property

How fun does that look :)

We did some work around the place....
You go out bush so that you can use your ipod in a different location :)

Saw some wildlife, this cutie was asleep, but dad banged on the tire saying "it doesn't mind being woken up" :) we were glad, it is so gorgeous.
 Lots of stuff
 Very cool old car
 More wildlife :)

They have two gorgeous dogs, the kids were in heaven
 Love old buildings
Cool shot, actually by me!!! :)

Off we go for a walk....

Campsite, this is where we will be in the winter, looks very civilised. I am told a toilet will appear as soon as I turn up.
I saw this and dubbed it 'bottom mountain' :)
Gorgeous views from the bottom of the property, it is Lake Moogerah.

Someone got hold of the camera :)
Now this was great fun, the kids didn't want to stop having turns on these

My turn by myself, soooo much fun :)
The dogs ran along with us, this is how dad takes them for a walk at night and they get so close to the wheels I don't know how they don't get caught under them
The horses roam wild around the place, they used to be ridden, but now have a better life :) they ran across our path while we were quad biking and it was an amazing experience to see horses galloping right in front of you.

Morning glory...

Filling up the water tank :0
 The other end
So we decided to go for a bush walk up the closest mountain, two minutes drive around a gorgeous corner, as you can see by the sign, it didn't seem that far, but then we climbed this....

We didn't actually reach the end of any of the walks even though they were all so close :) it just got steeper and steeper and rockier and the path just kept on going.
I will go back and conquer it one day :)
 Goanna!!!!

One last gorgeous view before leaving

We had such a great time. Now back to the real world of looking at fences for our view:)
